Cleaning Sippy Cups

I love sippy cups! I don’t even want to think of what my carpet would look like if we didn’t have sippy cups.
They are one of those necessities of life.
The only problem with sippy cups are cleaning the stopper that fits up inside the lid. For the longest time I was taking a bottle cleaner and washing them that way. (very tedious)
BUT, now I have figured out a way to get them clean, without doing a whole lot of work.
By putting them through one of the little post things that stick up (you know, the things that help hold the cups in place) the water is able to get inside and clean out that little spout part that has always been so darn hard to clean. (and often times gets moldy if not cleaned well)
I have been cleaning them this way for a long while now, and have never seen it mess up the stopper at all. (which was what I was worried it would do) The stopper closes back up and takes on its normal shape after its washed and you take it off the rack.

Since I have been doing this, I have not seen a speck of mold, nor have I had to do a whole lot of work to clean them………just stick them on and there you go!!
