Learning the USA

Here is something fun you can do with your kiddies to help them learn the US States.
Click on the picture below and print it off.

I give each of my kids one of these USA pictures and then they get out their colored pencils.

I then have them color the states that I name.

For example, I will tell them to color Kentucky yellow. Or I might tell them to color New York red. I don’t help them unless they NEED the help. Otherwise, I let them help each other. (if your child doesn't know any of the state names, you would then help your child and he/she could have fun while learning them)

They love doing this and it is a great way for us to keep up on all of those states we worked hard to memorize.
